THE NORTH FACE Women's Thermoball Insulated Traction Mule V Shoe
By: BillyVisuals
The North Face (TNF) Nuptse Mules are versatile and well-built, making them ideal for tasks like quick trips outside in the winter for tasks like taking out the trash. Priced at $75 USD or $109 CAD, these slippers unfortunately, only come in whole sizes. As well-tailored as they are for outdoor tasks, they feature an appealing ripstop material, identical to that of their jackets, proving to be advantageous for warding off total tearing. They offer dependable traction which can be useful in snowy conditions. However, the sizing might be a bit off as they can either be too tight or loose which can affect comfort and traction. On the downside, they lack a stable locking system like laces or elastic straps.
Though initially skeptical about their aesthetic appeal and durability, the reviewer found the Nuptse Mules to be highly practical and worthwhile. Deceptively light and flexible, they come with a foam insole and a furry top, that promises warmth on chilly days. The 'puffer' mule design is a fresh modern take on a conventional slipper and comes off as stylish. It is, however, worth mentioning that they feel rather flimsy due to their overly flexible nature. However, if you're someone looking for a slipper that is travel-friendly and can be easily packed, then the TNF Nuptse Mules should be on your radar.
